PSG and Lille are set to face off at Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Ligue 1 this Sunday evening.
Lille have only won one of their last 13 home league games against the Parisians, which came all the way back in 2019.
PSG currently lead the Ligue 1 standings with 15 points and come into this fixture buoyed by a thrilling 2-1 comeback win against Barcelona in the Champions League during the week.
Coach Luis Enrique is dealing with significant selection challenges, with six key players sidelined for the trip to Lille. Captain Marquinhos remains out as he continues to recover from a left thigh injury that has kept him off the pitch for several weeks.
Ousmane Dembélé is still in rehab at ASPETAR following a severe right hamstring injury sustained while playing for France. He is expected to be out for six weeks, which is a considerable setback to PSG’s offensive options given his status as a Ballon d’Or winner.
Other absentees include Désire Doué, who is sidelined with a right calf injury incurred during France’s recent win over Ukraine and is expected to be out for about a month. Similarly, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is regaining fitness following a hamstring issue.
Midfielders João Neves and Fabián Ruiz are also unavailable, with Neves nursing a thigh injury and Ruiz with an adductor problem picked up in the Champions League clash against Barcelona.
Possible PSG starting XI: Chevalier; Hakimi, Zabarnyi, Beraldo, Hernandez; Kang-in, Vitinha, Mayulu; Mbaye, Ramos, Barcola
The game will begin at 7:45pm BST on Sunday, 5th October.
For viewers in the UK, the encounter will be broadcast live on Amazon Prime PPV and Ligue 1 Pass.
