Paris Saint-Germain are yet to offer Ousmane Dembélé (28) a new contract to extend his stay at Parc des Princes, according to a report from Fabrizio Romano. Initial talks between the respective parties have taken place, but no formal offer has been submitted to the French international forward.

The 28-year-old has 2 and a half years remaining on his current deal with the Ligue 1 champions, but is seeking improved terms to reflect his status as a Ballon d’Or winner. Foot Mercato understands that the former Barcelona forward is set to reject an initial offer if it doesn’t meet the terms he expects.

PSG unwilling to break wage structure for Dembélé

Despite the UEFA Champions League winners hoping to keep the forward in the French capital, they are unwilling to break their wage structure. Nevertheless, with an extended period still remaining on Dembélé’s contract, there is no rush for Les Parisiens to reach an agreement.
