Paris Saint-Germain will face Aston Villa on Wednesday night at Parc des Princes, but which of these two sides are the favorite? PSG made their way to the quarterfinals after a tense penalty shootout victory over Liverpool in the Round of 16.
Aston Villa, on the other hand, cruised into the quarterfinals with a commanding 6-1 aggregate win over Club Brugge. Both teams are entering the match with strong momentum.
PSG recently claimed their 13th league title with a 1-0 win over Angers SCO, while Villa secured a 2-1 victory over Nottingham Forest in their latest match.

On Tuesday, Enrique spoke to the media and was asked about facing Asensio, knowing he didn’t want him in his squad. One of the questions the Spanish manager answered was whether he sees PSG or Aston Villa as favorites for this matchup.
“I believe it’s the same,” Luis Enrique said (h/t Paris Fans). “Against Liverpool, the odds were saying we had less of a chance. There are no favorites. The teams here deserve to be here. On the road to the title, many favorites have been eliminated. You have to do what it takes and deserve to win on the field.”
It will be interesting to see which side takes the advantage in the first 90 minutes as the scene shifts to Villa Park next week.
