PSG centre-back Milan Škriniar (29) has agreed to join Juventus, according to a report this Monday from Foot Mercato. The Slovakia international has fallen down the pecking order at Luis Enrique’s Les Parisiens with club captain Marquinhos and Willian Pacho partnering up most of the time at the back. With Presnel Kimpembe and Lucas Hernandez returning from injury and Lucas Beraldo also part of the PSG squad, Škriniar is expected to remain out of favor with the Ligue 1 champions.
Le Parisien reported recently that Škriniar’s situation has attracted interest from Premier League and Serie A sides with Juventus said to make the former Inter Milan captain their priority target. The Bianconeri are looking to reinforce their defense after Gleison Bremer’s serious knee injury.
Foot Mercato understands that Škriniar is aware of his current situation at PSG and is now open to moving away from the Ligue 1 champions. The outlet adds that the Slovakia international has agreed on principle to join Thiago Motta’s Juventus and that talks are already underway between the two sides. Considering Škriniar is tied down to a contract set to expire in 2028, Les Parisiens are in a favorable position to garder a significant fee from the center-back’s sale with Juventus looking to offload some of their players to PSG to facilitate Škriniar’s switch to the Allianz Stadium.
