Pulgar, Cebolinha and Plata ruled out for Flamengo v Estudiantes | OneFootball

Flamengo will be without Pulgar, Everton Cebolinha and Plata for Wednesday’s Conmebol Libertadores match against Estudiantes at the Maracanã.

According to Globo.com, the club released the matchday squad and confirmed the trio are not included.

Pulgar and Plata are already back on the grass and are close to returning. Pulgar sustained a right shoulder injury in early April, while Plata took a knock to his left knee 10 days ago.

Everton Cebolinha felt hip pain in Sunday’s meeting with Athletico-PR, and scans showed a minor injury. He is undergoing treatment with the medical department.

Arrascaeta is also out, a previously confirmed absence. He suffered a fracture of the right clavicle in the game against Estudiantes in La Plata and underwent surgery.

This week he was cleared to report to the Uruguay national team to continue his recovery with the World Cup in mind.
