Mauricio Pochettin's United States outfit may have edged closer to reaching the semi-finals of the Concacaf Nations League after taking an early lead in St. Louis.
After Juventus' Tim Weah nearly opened the scoring in the fourth minute of action before being denied by the woodwork, it was Christian Pulisic to put the Stars and Stripes ahead.
Weston McKennie played a delicious diagonal ball over the top of the Reggae Boyz's backline before the Milan forward slotted past Andre Blake on the half-volley.
He would later complete his brace in the 33rd minute, with McKennie turning provider again when the midfielder found himself free down the right-hand side before his cut-back pass into the box found Pulisic free to extend the advantage on the night.
Now with a 4-0 aggregate lead and having only ever lost to Jamaica on three occasions in 36 meetings, the US surely will be confident of progressing tonight.
