Racing Santander sign Juventus defender Pedro Felipe on permanent deal to 2030 | OneFootball

Racing Santander have signed Brazilian centre-back Pedro Felipe from Juventus on a permanent transfer, with a contract to June 2030. The club are shaping their squad ahead of their return to LaLiga.

They open on 16 August at Villarreal and have already made six signings. TuttoJuve reports that Racing could be interested in further Juventus players before the window closes.

Pedro Felipe joined Juventus from Palmeiras’ under-20s in 2023. He did not make a first-team debut for Juventus, but spent the second half of last season on loan at Sassuolo, where he played three Serie A matches and registered one assist.

His unveiling was briefly muddled when Juventus posted the transfer announcement on social media before the paperwork was completed. The post was swiftly deleted, although it circulated among Racing supporters.

Standing 1.90 metres, he is strong in the air and in individual duels. A right-sided defender with a good passing range, the 22-year-old complements Facu González, another centre-back with a Juventus past.
