Rangers are interested in recruiting the services of Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi this summer, according to the Scottish Sun.

Rangers manager Russell Martin wants another winger at the Ibrox club after Vaclav Cerny returned to Wolfsburg at the end of his loan spell last term, and the 22-year-old Premier League attacker has emerged as an option.

Rak-Sakyi spent last season on loan in the English Championship with Sheffield United and was dubbed a ‘real talent’ by manager Chris Wilder.

The Rangers target ended the campaign with seven goals and two assists in 34 league games and could be a huge addition to the Light Blues attack.

Palace want around £10 million for him but the Scottish Premiership club may look to loan him or attempt to sign him permanently for a lower fee.

Rak-Sakyi has played eight times in the Premier League for the Eagles but could finally be sold this summer given the options ahead of him in the squad.

The England youth international spent the 2022-23 season in the English League One with Charlton Athletic, notching 15 goals and eight assists in 43 league matches, and Rangers could do with such an attacker and ‘top player’.

He is an exceptional dribbler and finisher, and Premier League clubs are expected to join the Gers in the pursuit of his services.

They can pip English top-flight suitors to his services with the offer of regular playing opportunities and European football, with their Champions League campaign for 2025-26 starting later this month when they take on Panathinaikos in the second qualifying round.

The Light Blues will hope to progress to the third qualifying round and the play-off stage, securing a spot in the group phase of the Champions League or Europa League could boost their chances of landing Rak-Sakyi and more top players.
