Nasser Djiga joined Rangers on loan after only six Wolves appearances following his £10m arrival from Red Star in January 2025. Rangers are said to have told Wolves they will not make it permanent, and he is contracted until 2030.

Walsall defender Connor Barrett, 24, has been linked with Wigan Athletic. He has 12 months left on the three-year contract he signed in 2024 after joining from non-league AFC Fylde.

Max O’Leary has signed a new three-year deal at West Brom. Departing Southampton midfielder Will Smallbone, who spent last season on loan at Millwall, could appeal to Albion for his versatility.

Marcus Rashford’s future is unclear after a season on loan at Barcelona from Manchester United. Villa interest is thought to remain, while Bayern Munich, Newcastle and Spurs are monitoring, and Barcelona want a permanent move.

Evann Guessand, a £23.5m signing in 2025, played 14 times in the first half of last season before joining Crystal Palace on loan. He featured in the Conference League and a reported purchase clause has expired, so he is considering his options.
