The 28-year-old is a Danish international.

He is one of several absentees for Eintracht, with Ansgar Knauff, Arnaud Kalimuendo, Can Uzun and Arthur Theate also out.

There is some relief for Die Adler, as Jonathan Burkardt is expected to return to the squad for this weekend’s meeting with Bayern Munich after a long lay-off.
