If Manchester City manage to get their mooted move for Rayan Cherki over the line, it looks like they'll be getting a heck of a player.
According to reports in recent days, City are hoping to complete the signing of the Lyon playmaker before the Club World Cup, with the 21-year-old set to replace the departing Kevin De Bruyne.

And on Thursday night, Cherki gave the Citizens a tantalising glimpse of things to come when he came off the bench and scored this beauty in France's UEFA Nations League semi-final with Spain.
Unfortunately for Les Bleus, it was only a consolation goal in an incredible 5-4 defeat.
And unfortunately for City, it might just have added a few million Euros to Cherki's price-tag.
