Real Betis set sights on Chelsea & Real Madrid defenders | OneFootball

The brass at La Liga outfit Real Betis have drawn up a shortlist of targets to reinforce the heart of the club’s backline for next season.

And it features young talent from two of European football’s leading clubs.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have on Sunday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes at the Estadio Benito Villamarín.

Betis, it is understood, are keen to add one further option to their current central defensive core of Marc Bartra, Diego Llorente, and Natan.

An up-and-coming profile with room for growth is being eyed, potentially even on loan.

And with as much in mind, a shortlist featuring a whole host of names was recently put together by Manuel Pellegrini and co.

As per a report from MD, citing information from both El Desmarque and Estadio Deportivo, the following stoppers are all under consideration on the part of the Real Betis board:

Daniele Ghilardi (Verona), Jacobo Ramón (Real Madrid), Aarón Anselmino (Chelsea), and Saba Goglichdize (Empoli).
