Real Madrid eyeing Eduardo Conceicao and Eduardo Pepe

Now, according to journalist Craque Neto on the programme Os Donos da Bola (h/t Mundo Deportivo), Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on two emerging prospects – Eduardo Conceicao and Eduardo Pape.

Conceicao, 16, is one of the most in-demand youngsters currently, with the Palmeiras wonderkid being courted by the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, and even Barcelona, although the latter have seemingly dropped out of the race.

Now, Real Madrid, too, have entered the fray for the teenage forward, with the journalist going as far as claiming that the Merengues may have already secured the signing of the highly rated youngster.

Conceicao is tied down to a contract until 31 January 2029 with Palmeiras and is expected to cost a big sum, in line with the recent big sales of Endrick and Estevao that the Brazilian club made.

The second player on the list, Eduardo Pape, a 17-year-old midfielder currently playing for Cruzeiro. The youngster starred in the Copinha tournament, scoring two and assisting three goals, helping the the club’s youth team win the trophy.

In addition to Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City are also monitoring his development. Pape recently renewed his contract with Cruzeiro until 31 December 2029.

Both players cannot move to Europe until they turn 18 years old, but for now, Real Madrid are closely tracking the Brazilian duo.
