La Liga giants Real Madrid are eyeing a summer deal for a member of the defensive ranks at German outfit Borussia Dortmund.
The BVB star in the sights of the Blancos brass comes in the form of Nico Schlotterbeck.

The Bernabéu brass are now understood to be eyeing fresh blood at centre-back. And amid this search, the name of the aforementioned Nico Schlotterbeck has come back to the fore.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘Mourinho is a big fan of the defender, and the German could leave Dortmund this summer.’
Schlotterbeck’s recent contract renewal at Signal Iduna Park is said to contain a release clause for specific clubs, including Real Madrid, set at €50-60 million.
