At a time when Eduardo Camavinga has faced a lot of heat at Real Madrid, his compatriot Aurelien Tchouameni has done well to avoid the public outrage.
Formerly of AS Monaco, Tchouameni hasn’t had to face much criticism, having been a consistent figure at the heart of the Real Madrid midfield.
However, he is not free of speculation either, with recent reports linking him with a potential move to Manchester United, who are desperate to shore up their ranks in midfield this summer.
A fresh report from Santi Aouna, though, has clarified the future of Tchouameni, as far as Real Madrid are concerned.
It appears Los Blancos consider Tchouameni an ‘untouchable’ figure in the squad, meaning he is one of the few players who are guaranteed to continue at the club next season.

This puts him in the same bracket as Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe, both of whom are set to play a key role in the Real Madrid project next season despite the public criticism.
Real Madrid’s hard stance on Tchouameni comes in the midst of Manchester United’s interest, suggesting that the Spanish giants have no desire to offload the player.
In fact, Real Madrid are soon expected to renew the contract of Tchouameni, who joined the club in 2022 and has already featured in almost 200 competitive matches for the club.
Although the Frenchman is still yet to establish himself as one of the best in the world, he has been consistent, which is something that cannot be said for his compatriot Eduardo Camavinga.
Tchouameni’s current deal at Santiago Bernabeu expires in 2028, and a renewal could easily secure his long-term future at the club.
