Antonio Rudiger is currently in his third season at Real Madrid, having joined from Chelsea on a free transfer in 2022.

In his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, the 32-year-old German international has established himself as the leader of the defensive unit and is one of the most beloved players in the dressing room and among the fans.

Rudiger has been critical to the success that Los Blancos have enjoyed in these seasons – winning a total of eight trophies already.

No plans of early exit amid Saudi Arabia interest

Now, according to Jorge Picon (h/t RM4Arab), Rudiger does not intend to bring his time at Real Madrid to an early end amid interest from Saudi Arabia.

With his contract running until 2026, Rudiger’s top priority is to remain at the Santiago Bernabeu. He loves the club and feels deeply valued by his teammates, the management, and the fans.

Moreover, the veteran defender, who is a doubt for today’s La Liga clash vs Rayo Vallecano, still sees room for further success and is eager to continue competing for major honours in the famous white shirt.

There is strong interest in Rudiger from other clubs – most notably from Saudi Arabia. Several teams from the Middle East want to secure his services in the future, with the country’s government, which oversees these high-profile signings, also keen on his arrival.

From the player’s perspective, Rudiger is open to the idea of playing in Saudi Arabia at some point, but only after his time at Real Madrid comes to an end – either when he decides to seek a new challenge or if the club opts to part ways with him.

For now, however, the ex-Chelsea man remains fully committed to Los Blancos. His objective remains clear – to fulfil his contract at Real Madrid and win as many trophies as possible before considering his next move.
