Real Madrid are going through one of their worst seasons in recent memory and could once again finish a campaign without a major trophy.
This is despite having two of the most gifted attackers on the planet – Vinicius Jr. and Kylian Mbappe – in the same team, along with other decorated stars who are more than capable of making a difference.
However, for many, having two such talented players may be the source of all problems. At least that is what the Real Madrid camp is thinking right now.
According to ESPN journalist Rodra P (h/t Madrid Xtra), there is a growing belief within Real Madrid that Vinicius and Mbappe simply do not work together.
They believe that the club will need to part ways with one of them in order to resolve the issue structurally.

The feeling is not fringe or isolated. Many people inside the club share this view, believing the lack of cohesion between the two forwards is a fundamental problem that no manager has been able to solve since Mbappe’s arrival.
However, President Florentino Perez does not share that view. The Real Madrid chief remains convinced that he can build a winning team around both players and has no intention of sanctioning the departure of either.
This sets up a fascinating narrative heading into a summer transfer window, which is expected to be quite busy for Real Madrid.
Not to mention, the Spanish giants are yet to renew the contract of Vinicius, which makes things even more exciting, especially if the voices of doubts inside the Real Madrid camp get louder.
