Rodrygo is fast-becoming one of the most talked-about figures in the transfer market right now, as the forward looks to be closing in on a move away from Real Madrid.

The Brazilian international has found himself in a precarious situation, with new coach Xabi Alonso likely to favour Arda Guler more heading into the new season.

This has led to widespread speculation over Rodrygo’s future, with recent reports linking the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur with a move for the forward.

Rodrygo has not handed in a transfer request

According to COPE, Rodrygo has yet to hand in a transfer request at Real Madrid despite all the noise surrounding his future.

This comes despite the fact that Arsenal are reportedly trying to offload Leandro Trossard in order to sign the Brazilian.

Tottenham, on the other hand, have been interested too, although it appears Rodrygo himself doesn’t quite favour a move to Spurs.

Despite interest from the Premier League giants, it appears Real Madrid have yet to receive a single official bid for the Brazilian sensation.

This is hardly surprising as Los Blancos have been very strict and clear about Rodrygo’s valuation.

In a market that has seen players like Matheus Cunha and Hugo Ekitike go for figures close to €100 million, Real Madrid will not settle for anything less than the same figure for the services of Rodrygo this summer.

If the club fail to attract such an offer this summer, they have no qualms about keeping hold of the Brazilian international next season so that he can at least fight for a place in the starting eleven under Xabi Alonso.
