La Liga title-chasers Real Madrid have late this week been afforded a welcome boost on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Rodrygo is back available for selection.
Frontman Rodrygo was for his part forced to watch on from home for each of Real Madrid’s last three fixtures across all competitions.
As much came owing to an injury complaint suffered in the Spanish Super Cup finale against Barcelona.
The timing of his setback could not have been worse, with the Brazilian having just begun to rediscover his brilliant best in the colours of Los Blancos.
All associated with Real will in turn no doubt be delighted with the latest comments on the part of manager Álvaro Arbeloa.
Drawn on the wellbeing of his attacking star during a pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of facing Villarreal tomorrow evening, Arbeloa confirmed:
“Rodrygo is back.”
It now remains to be seen if the 25-year-old is trusted with slotting straight back into a starting berth at La Cerámica.
