La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Sunday been handed an altogether welcome boost on the personnel front.

This comes amid fresh word on the wellbeing of star frontman Rodrygo.

Rodrygo, for his part, set alarm bells ringing in Spain’s capital in the early hours of Sunday morning.

As much came upon the 23-year-old being forced into a premature departure from Brazil’s Copa América quarter-final showdown with Uruguay.

En route to Brazil being sent packing from the competition by way of a penalty shootout defeat, Rodrygo limped out of proceedings in evident distress inside the closing 20 minutes.

This came after a horror challenge on the part of Nahitan Nández, who was subsequently dismissed following a VAR check.
