Real Madrid have 5 ‘locked’ players heading into the new season | OneFootball

Ahead of an expected reshuffling in both the midfield and attacking departments at La Liga giants Real Madrid, a quintet of players have been identified as ‘locks’ for the season ahead.

That’s according to Blancos journalist Abraham P Romero, who has this weekend provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.

Real Madrid’s personnel situation has of course dominated the headlines across not only Spain, but all of Europe over recent days.

This comes amid the understanding that the Bernabéu hierarchy are actively working on the signings of both Manchester City standout Rodri, and RB Leipzig prodigy Yan Diomandé.

In the case of the pair arriving, an overbooking will quickly be evident in the midfield and attacking ranks in José Mourinho’s squad.

Whilst speculation continues to swirl surrounding the futures of several current Blancos stars, though, five names have been circled in red by Mourinho and his staff as certainties heading into the new campaign.

As per the aforementioned Abraham P Romero:

‘Federico Valverde, Arda Güler, Bernardo Silva, Jude Bellingham, and Kylian Mbappé are locks for Mourinho and the club.’
