Two leading members of Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid squad have been included in the latest Champions League Team of the Week.

This comes owing to their respective performances in Real’s showdown with Manchester City on Tuesday evening.

Los Blancos were of course responsible for another memorable comeback on the continent earlier this week.

After finding themselves in a 2-1 deficit inside the closing five minutes of a meeting with Pep Guardiola’s City, a pair of late goals proved enough to turn the scoreline on its head, guiding the Spanish champions to a 3-2 triumph.

Vinícius Jr. proved himself the creative architect behind as much, credited with a pair of assists by UEFA.

Partner-in-crime Jude Bellingham, meanwhile, notched the game’s winner, capping off a brilliant individual display with a close-range finish deep into injury time.
