Real Madrid pair set for international recalls | OneFootball

Two members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid are set to be afforded recalls at international level next month.

That’s according to Globo, who point towards Rodrygo and Éder Militão as the pair in question.

Blancos pair Rodrygo and Militão were both forced to watch on from afar earlier this summer, as their compatriots played out a crucial pair of World Cup qualifying fixtures.

In the case of the former, as much came amid a concerning dip in form and confidence.

Defender Militão, on the other hand, was still in the final stages of recovery from a long-term knee injury.

Both players, though, are now very much back on the radar of their former Real Madrid headmaster, Carlo Ancelotti.

As per the aforementioned Globo, ahead of an upcoming pair of clashes with Chile and Bolivia, Brazil boss Ancelotti is ready to call upon Rodrygo and Militão once more.

Vinícius Jr, on the other hand, will not be selected, owing chiefly to a one-game international suspension.
