Real Madrid seal €50m transfer boost | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have put deals in place over the sale of a pair of players to Premier League outfit Fulham. This comes amid confirmation that Gonzalo García and César Palacios have agreed to take their respective talents to England’s capital on a permanent basis.

The names of youngsters Gonzalo and Palacios of course emerged as prominent ones in the media headlines in Spain across the week to date.

After word was forthcoming that Álvaro Arbeloa – who oversaw their development during his time managing in Madrid – was eyeing a reunion with both in England, the Bernabéu brass opened the door to transfer negotiations.

From here, a whole host of options are understood to have been discussed, from loans to permanent deals, part ownership and beyond.

And as alluded to above, on Thursday, a breakthrough between the parties has been confirmed.

As per a report from The Athletic, amongst a host of other reliable outlets:

‘Fulham have agreed deals to sign Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios for a combined fee of €50m from Real Madrid. The proposals value Garcia at €40m and Palacios at €10m, and include a 30 per cent sell-on clause for each player.’
