Real Madrid star defends under-fire Lamine Yamal | OneFootball

Real Madrid star Dean Huijsen has this week moved to defend Barcelona counterpart Lamine Yamal.

This of course comes amid the ongoing chatter surrounding the 18-year-old’s controversial withdrawal from Spain’s latest national team squad.

Wide-man Lamine was sent home from La Roja’s camp earlier this week, after undergoing a round of treatment for his pubalgia problems in Barcelona.

As much saw the youngster forced into the heart of another saga between club and country, after Spain made clear that they were not aware of Barca’s plans to treat Lamine through a radiofrequency procedure.

Of the opinion that the entire saga has been blown out of proportion, though, is the aforementioned Dean Huijsen.

Drawn on as much during an interview with Radio Marca this week, Real Madrid stopper Huijsen, who has for his part linked up with Luis de la Fuente’s squad, assured:

“He has a minor injury and it’s normal that he’s going home, I went home too.”
