A member of the goalkeeper ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has rebuffed approaches on the part of a number of clubs from across Europe this summer.
That’s according to Marca, who point towards Andriy Lunin as the player in question.
Shot-stopper Lunin is of course fresh off another challenging campaign in Spain’s capital in 2024/25, which saw the Ukrainian forced to play second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois once more.
All told, across all competitions, he was afforded a solid if unspectacular 14 appearances.
Owing to as much, it had been suggested in the media of late that Lunin could be on the move over the weeks ahead, in search of more consistent playing time.
As alluded to above, however, if the latest word stemming from Spain’s capital is anything to go by, then the 26-year-old will be going nowhere this summer.
As per a report from Marca:
‘Andriy Lunin has made his decision clear for next season: he wants to stay at Real Madrid. The Ukrainian is very comfortable in the Spanish capital, and despite having several offers, none of them offer him the personal and professional conditions that Real Madrid offers.’
