Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has shared his thoughts on his teammate Vinicius Jr., saying that he believes the Brazilian winger is fully committed to Real Madrid and has no interest in moving to Saudi Arabia, despite reports of a lucrative offer.
Rodrygo spoke positively about his friend, revealing that Vinicius is “very focused on Real Madrid” and seems determined to stay with the club for many years.
Rodrygo, speaking after Real Madrid’s 3-0 victory over Brest, stated that Vinicius has not mentioned anything about the possible offer from Saudi Arabian football.
He emphasized that his friend’s attention is squarely on his current club and continuing his impressive performances for Real Madrid.
According to Rodrygo, Vinicius has not discussed the financial incentives that come with the reported multi-million euro offer, which is said to be far more significant than his current contract at Madrid.
“I see him very well, very focused on Real Madrid. It’s a personal thing and I can’t give you any advice, I don’t know what’s going on.
“I’m only interested in Real Madrid’s Vini and the only advice I can give him is to keep scoring goals in this shirt,” he noted as quoted by SPORT.

While Rodrygo clarified that he couldn’t offer personal advice on the matter, he expressed that the only thing he encourages Vinicius to focus on is continuing to deliver strong performances for Real Madrid.
Rodrygo’s confidence in Vinicius was clear as he noted that he believes his teammate wants to remain at the club for the long term, just like the rest of the squad.
“I really don’t know what’s happening because Vini doesn’t talk about it and he’s very focused on Real Madrid, on continuing to score a lot of goals in this shirt.
“I think he doesn’t think much about that and his focus is on Real Madrid. I see that he and everyone want to be here for many years,” he noted.
In the match against Brest, Rodrygo took full advantage of Vinicius’ absence to shine on the pitch. His statistics reflected his vital role in the team’s attacking efforts.
Rodrygo completed the most passes in the final third with 25, had the highest number of shots on goal (3), was the player with the most successful dribbles (6), and also won the most tackles (4).
