Real Madrid v Atlético line-ups: Kylian Mbappé on the bench, Antoine Griezmann starts | OneFootball

Kylian Mbappé will start on the bench for the Madrid derby between Real Madrid and Atlético, with Antoine Griezmann named in the visitors’ XI.

According to L'Équipe, Mbappé has returned from a knee injury and came on for the final 20 minutes in Manchester on Tuesday as Real won 2-1 in the Champions League. The derby kicks off at 21:00 on Sunday.

Real begin with Vinicius and Brahim Diaz up front. Alvaro Arbeloa has selected Dani Carvajal ahead of Trent Alexander Arnold at right back.

For Atlético, Griezmann partners Julian Alvarez. It is only the Frenchman’s second La Liga start, with him preserved for the Champions League and Copa del Rey.

With Thibaut Courtois and Jan Oblak injured, back-up goalkeepers Andrei Lounine and Juan Musso start.
