Real Madrid youngster the subject of transfer offer from Borussia Dortmund | OneFootball

A member of the youth ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid was the subject of a recent transfer proposal by way of Borussia Dortmund.

That’s according to Marca, who point towards Diego Aguado as the player in question.

Aguado, for his part, is an 18-year-old defender, who chiefly lines out in a central role, but is also capable of taking to the pitch at full-back.

The Spaniard has long been considered a potential star in the making behind the scenes in Spain’s capital, culminating in a new contract through 2029 earlier this year.

As alluded to above, though, this has not stopped one of German football’s leading clubs from tabling a proposal to lure Aguado away from Real Madrid.

As per a report from Marca:

‘Borussia Dortmund have already submitted a €6 million offer for the transfer of the Real Madrid youth player.’

The Santiago Bernabéu brass have as of yet not responded to the offer, with the plan for Aguado to take his place in Xabi Alonso’s squad for the Club World Cup, before a final decision is made on his future.
