Real Sociedad fervour grips science as Javier García Cogorro backs Copa final bid in Seville

Real Sociedad’s blue and white passion has reached Gipuzkoa’s scientific community, with Viralgen president Javier García Cogorro backing the team ahead of the Copa del Rey final on 18 April at La Cartuja in Seville.

According to Diario Vasco, the Columbus Venture Partners director has even pulled on the txuri-urdin shirt to show his support.

A key figure in the planned redevelopment of Illunbe and recipient of the 2023 Tambor de Oro, García Cogorro identified a bright future in Gipuzkoa’s innovation scene and has been captivated by the club’s colours.

When championing science in San Sebastián, he said there were very few projects of this kind in Europe and in the world, and he now adds his voice to the backing for Real.

For him it is a blue and white feeling, with science behind, heart in front, and a dream waiting in Seville.
