Real Sociedad secure academy starlets as Ibai Aguirre signs until 2031 | OneFootball

Real Sociedad announced on Thursday that Ibai Aguirre has extended his contract until 2031. The 19-year-old from Mutriku moved from Juvenil to Sanse this season and has already debuted for the first team under Pellegrino Matarazzo.

The club are relaxed about their pipeline, with a raft of academy renewals completed this season.

Job Ochieng renewed in February until 2028, while Mikel Rodríguez signed through 2029. Aitor Fraga, Beitia, Dani Díaz, Astiazaran and Rupérez are also contracted to 2029.

Striker Gorka Carrera extended to 2030. Gorka Gorosabel and Tommy Carbonell are tied to 2028.

Álex Marchal has the earliest expiry in 2027, and Athletic are said to have shown interest.

At first-team level, Jon Martín, still wearing a B-team number, committed in October until 2031, matching Aguirre for the club’s longest deal. Unai Marrero extended in February to 2030.
