Régis Le Bris has effectively signalled that Thomas Meunier's arrival means Lutsharel Geertruida will not rejoin Sunderland this season.
According to Sunderland Echo, he made the point after the club's first pre-season friendly on Saturday, a 5-1 win at York City.
