Dear Nerazzurri,

It is a great honour for me to address you today on the occasion of our annual Assembly, with the full awareness that I represent an extraordinary community, and a leading figure in Italian and European football. I am pleased to say that now, we are an organization that is increasingly solid from an economic, financial, and organizational point of view.

The season we have just completed was intense and emotional. Our First Team demonstrated pride, character, and a spirit of sacrifice, ensuring a strong performance across all competitions: second place in Serie A, Champions League final, Coppa Italia semifinal, and Supercoppa Italiana final. These results are a testament to the quality of our team and the competitive spirit that differentiates us. The lack of a trophy must be a driver for all of us to work with even greater determination and humility, so that we can soon bring new moments of joy to our fans.

To close the chapter on last season, I also wish to express my gratitude here to Simone Inzaghi, who has left an indelible mark on the history of the Club.

Our Club can count on outstanding professionalism. For this reason, I believe it is right to take this opportunity to thank our Vice President, Javier Zanetti, and my close collaborators, Piero Ausilio and Dario Baccin, for their extraordinary work.

A few months ago, we enthusiastically welcomed Cristian Chivu as the new coach of the First Team. This was a forward-looking choice, aligned with our focus on innovation, enhancing young talent, and continuity in the strategic process of rejuvenating the squad. We are certain that Cristian will guide the team with passion and expertise. From what we have seen already in the beginning of this season, it is clear we made an excellent choice.

The men's First Team is performing better with each match and has collected three consecutive victories in the last three league games. We have also begun our Champions League campaign with the maximum amount of points after two games. These results confirm the strength and competitiveness of the Club and give us further confidence for the remainder of the season.

We have welcomed new players who have integrated into a strong and cohesive group, while still keeping the core of the squad intact. The new additions are consistent with the guidelines we set at the beginning of the transfer campaign and that we share with ownership.

The financial statement we present today marks a historic milestone: for the first time in Inter's modern history, we recorded a net profit. This result reflects the strength of our strategy, rooted in commitments to sustainability, operational efficiency, and maximising our resources. We have seen significant growth in sporting and commercial revenues, and a positive impact from stadium income and the Club World Cup.

A special thank you goes to Oaktree, which has supported the Club with professionalism and strategic vision, ensuring solid governance and financial discipline. These are precisely the principles on which we must base our daily work to ensure that this year’s historic financial result can be repeated in the long-term.

Looking to the future, we are set to feature prominently across all major competitions in the 2025/26 season, both in the men's and women's divisions. The creation of the Under 23 team, which is participating in Serie C, reflects a strategic commitment to nurturing young talent and securing a future filled with players developed in line with our core values. The youth sector is already proving its excellence, as demonstrated by the new Primavera Scudetto, the eleventh in our history.

A special acknowledgement must be given to our women’s team, Inter Women, which this year is making Inter history: for the first time, it is participating in a European competition, the UEFA Women's Europa Cup. This achievement highlights the remarkable growth of women's football at Inter and the strength of our players, who are facing this new international adventure with great determination and pride.

We will continue to pay close attention to infrastructure development: the training center at Appiano Gentile, now BPER Training Centre, and the KONAMI Women and Youth Football Centre will receive new investment to provide the best possible working conditions for our athletes and staff.

Allow me now, however, to focus on a momentous development for the future of the Club and the city of Milan.

In recent weeks, the Milan City Council has resolved to allow Inter and Milan to purchase the San Siro stadium and the surrounding areas. This is a decision that opens up extraordinary opportunities for our Club, for the city, and for the entirety of Italian football.

We have already announced that the design of the new stadium will be entrusted to two internationally-renowned architects: Norman Foster and David Manica. This is a first choice that is a guarantee in itself.

This project represents a historic turning point, not only in terms of sustainability and revenue growth, but also for the experience we will be able to offer our fans and the citizens of Milan. We are determined to create a modern, innovative, and cutting-edge facility that will be a model for other European football clubs and a driver of continued development for our community. Our ambition is to ensure that Inter, and its fans, have a home worthy of our history and our future.

The planned investments in the San Siro area are significant and will allow the creation of a stadium that will be an asset for all Milanese citizens and for the entire Italian football community, which is to host Euro 2032. This is an event that Milan cannot miss out on. Once again, I think it is right to emphasize here how the arrival of Oaktree has benefitted Inter. They have represented the Club as a serious, professional, and reliable partner for such an ambitious project as we have engaged with the municipality.

My gratitude goes to all those who are part of the Club—players, coaches, staff—and above all to our fans, who have given us energy, passion, and a sense of responsibility. Their support is the true engine of our ambition.

We look to the future assured of our competitiveness and with determination to represent Inter’s values at the highest levels. We will continue to work to build a Club that is ever more solid, modern, and successful, worthy of our history and the trust of all those who love these colors.
