A move for Jamie Gittens appears most likely, although the Blues were linked with Garnacho in January and continue to be.

Chelsea were said to still be in contact with his representatives and Caught Offside have now reported the Blues remain interested in a potential move for the Argentine winger and are continuing to assess the situation.

The report adds United are thought to be open to offers of around €55m for the 20-year-old, with Napoli also interested along with AC Milan, Atletico Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen.

John Obi Mikel believes Garnacho would improve Chelsea, and he managed 11 goals and ten assists in 58 appearances in all competitions last season.
