Serie A minnows Genoa have reportedly intensified efforts to sign out-of-favor Inter Milan midfielder Kristjan Asllani.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Griffins are in talks with the Nerazzurri over the Albanian’s loan switch to Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
Stuck in the bottom half of the table, Genoa are desperate for reinforcements as they aim to avoid relegation.
Meanwhile, manager Daniele De Rossi seems to have set his sights on Kristjan Asllani, who has no future at San Siro.

Despite joining Torino on a season-long loan in the summer to reignite his career, the 23-year-old flopped in Turin.
Therefore, Marco Baroni’s men have decided to terminate his stay at Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
As such, the former Empoli man will soon return to San Siro, with Inter already looking to find him a new club.
Genoa could offer Asllani an escape route from Milan and, more importantly, regular first-team opportunities.
