Inter Milan could have a busy January transfer window after losing several key players to injuries.

According to FCInter1908, the Nerazzurri could also face some exits, which would force the club’s hand.

Denzel Dumfries and Francesco Acerbi are in the pits, with the former expected to stay out of action until March.

Therefore, Cristian Chivu is desperate to sign a new wingback, with Marco Palestra emerging as a dream target.

However, the 20-year-old commands a hefty €40 million asking price and doesn’t seem like an attainable option for Inter.

Signing a new wingback may not be enough, as Davide Frattesi appears to be hellbent on cutting ties with the Nerazzurri.

Nailed to the bottom of the pecking order, Frattesi is keen to revive his career amid growing interest from Juventus.

Veteran defender Stefan de Vrij is in a similar position.

Chivu has rarely used the 33-year-old this season, while his contract at San Siro runs out next summer.
