Serie A champions Inter Milan reportedly consider Nicola Zalewski and Cristiano Biraghi as possible candidates to replace Tajon Buchanan.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Canadian wingback will soon join Villarreal on loan until the end of the season.
With Tajon Buchanan packing his bags, the Nerazzurri are in the market for reinforcements on the flank.
Head coach Simone Inzaghi needs strength in depth now that the reigning Scudetto holders are battling on multiple fronts.
Therefore, they’re scouring the market for short-term additions.
Zalewski is reportedly the club’s priority.
Indeed, his contract at the Stadio Olimpico expires in June, making him an ideal target.

Out of favor in Rome, the young Pole is eager to leave Roma, with Inter ready to offer him an escape route.
However, there’s fear the Giallorossi could throw a spanner in the works.
After being rebuffed for Davide Frattesi, Roma could get back at Inter.
As such, Fiorentina outcast Biraghi could make a shock return to Giuseppe Meazza this winter.
Fiorentina boss Raffaele Palladino has cast the former Viola captain out of the squad.
But it’s only a hypothesis for the time being.
