Massimo Tarantino will sever ties with the Nerazzurri at the end of the season.

Indeed, the senior executive has already agreed to return to Roma in the summer, with the Giallorossi ready to offer him a contract until 2030.

Meanwhile, Beppe Marotta has earmarked several potential candidates to fill the vacancy.

Juventus chief Michele Sbravati reportedly sits at the top of Marotta’s shortlist.

Despite Marotta’s intention to lure Sbravati to San Siro, the latter has never shown any ambition to leave Turin.

However, Sbravati’s contract at the Allianz Stadium expires in 2028, which gives Inter hope that they could lure him to Milan in the summer.

Therefore, Juventus have already prepared themselves for the worst-case scenario.

Indeed, the record-time Italian champions have identified Genoa director Roberto Trapani as Sbravati’s potential heir.

Meanwhile, Sbravati is not the only candidate to succeed Tarantino.
