Inter Milan are reportedly pushing ahead to try and sign Genoa defender Koni De Winter this summer transfer window.
Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, via FCInter1908, report that the Nerazzurri have held talks with the Grifone to try and get close to a deal for the 23-year-old.
Inter Milan are reportedly keen on Genoa defender Koni De Winter.
The Belgian has impressed this season for Il Grifone. He has been one of the outstanding young defenders in Serie A.
And the defense is certainly one area of the pitch where Inter will want to strengthen.
The Nerazzurri are targeting De Winter as a replacement for either Yann Bisseck or Benjamin Pavard.
Like those two, De Winter is very at home playing on the right side of a back three.

According to Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri, De Winter is a player Inter see as perfect for their renewal of the project under Cristian Chivu.
So much so, in fact, that he reports that the Nerazzurri have been pushing ahead in recent talks with Genoa.
It is unclear whether Inter would first have to sell one of Bisseck or Pavard in order to move for De Winter.
However, the Nerazzurri are keeping the option very much alive.
Meanwhile, Tavolieri reports, De Winter himself has made Inter his priority destination.
