Report Kean contacted by Como for Champions League | OneFootball

Como have contacted Moise Kean’s entourage to ask for the Italy striker’s availability, claim Sky Sport Italia, but haven’t yet spoken to Fiorentina.

The Lariani were in Serie B two years ago, but are now preparing for their first ever Champions League campaign.

That brings with it some fresh problems, as they had hardly any Italian players in the squad, so more need to be brought in to meet UEFA quotas of homegrown talent.

Kean idea for Como attack

According to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, representatives from Como have been in contact with Kean’s entourage to see if he would be interested in the project.

This has been the very first step, before approaching Fiorentina to see if there is the possibility of a sale this summer.

The 26-year-old is under contract at the Stadio Artemio Franchi until June 2029.

There is a release clause worth €62m, but it is only valid outside of Italy from July 1-15, so is not relevant for a potential Como offer.

Kean struggled with consistency in his career, moving regularly between Juventus, Verona, Everton, Paris Saint-Germain and since 2024 Fiorentina.

He scored 13 goals in 26 senior caps for Italy and is eager for Champions League football.
