Inter Milan paid Bayern Munich around €30 million to sign Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2023.

However, after falling short of expectations in his two seasons at San Siro, the 30-year-old joined Marseille on a season-long loan last summer.

Furthermore, the French giants have included a buyout clause in their agreement with the Nerazzurri.

Therefore, they have an option to purchase the experienced defender for €15 million at the end of the season.

Marseille Eye Cut-Price Deal for Inter Milan Loanee Benjamin Pavard

Despite missing just there Ligue 1 matches this season, Pavard has not fully convinced Marseille to hand him a permanent contract.

Indeed, Habib Beye’s men are still evaluating whether the Frenchman fits their long-term project, especially given his price tag.

However, Marseille would ideally sign Pavard on more favorable terms, meaning Inter may need to lower their asking price.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri are keen to offload the former Stuttgart ace, having already decided to trigger a purchase option for Manuel Akanji.
