Mehdi Taremi will miss the first leg of Inter Milan’s Coppa Italia tie against AC Milan, and both matches against Bayern Munich.

Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, report that the 32-year-old will be out for around twenty days with a thigh strain. He could return against Bologna, or for the second leg against Milan.

Inter Milan have received yet another injury blow. Striker Mehdi Taremi has suffered a thigh injury.

The Iranian international picked up the injury in the lead-up to yesterday’s Serie A match against Udinese.

Sky confirm that the problem for Taremi is a strain to the adductor muscle in his left thigh.

With Inter playing a total of eight matches in the month of April alone, the big question is how many Taremi will miss.

Obviously, Mehdi Taremi will miss Wednesday’s Coppa Italia match against AC Milan.

Beyond that, though, Sky report that the former Porto striker will also miss a few more matches.

Taremi will also miss next weekend’s Serie A match against Parma. And the following league outing against Cagliari.

Then, Taremi will also be unavailable for both legs of Inter’s Champions League quarterfinal tie against Bayern Munich.

However, Taremi could be fit to face Bologna in Serie A later next month. If not, he could return for the second leg of the Coppa Italia tie against Milan, reports Sky.
