Richard Ríos delights Seixal crowd ahead of Sporting v Benfica derby | OneFootball

Days before Sporting v Benfica in matchweek 30 of Liga Portugal Betclic, Richard Ríos drew a crowd in Seixal with a public appearance.

He has been attracting strong interest in Europe, with Napoli said to have made an exploratory approach, and Calciomercato reports that Inter Milan are monitoring Benfica’s number 20. After a slower start to the season, he has impressed in recent weeks, notably against Arouca and Vitória de Guimarães.

Fresh from featuring in the win over Nacional, the Colombia international visited Estádio Municipal do Bravo, Seixal, for a Red Bull promotional activity linked to his partnership in his home country.

He showcased close control and ball skills in front of young Seixal 1925 players in the stands, before signing autographs and posing for photographs with fans.

This season for Benfica, Ríos is valued at 22 million euros and has made 41 official appearances, 23 in Liga Portugal Betclic, 12 in the Champions League, three in the Taça de Portugal, two in the Taça da Liga and one in the Supertaça. Across 3,278 minutes he has scored five goals and provided five assists.
