Tottenham Hotspur will welcome Villarreal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Tuesday night as they look to secure a positive result in the UEFA Champions League. Spurs managed to earn a 3-0 win away at West Ham United recently, so they will go into this game full of confidence about earning another victory this week.
Thomas Frank will opt for the 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first XI for this game. Richarlison, Rodrigo Bentancur and Destiny Udogie could all play from the start of this contest.
Guglielmo Vicario will feature in between the sticks for Spurs after keeping a clean sheet in his last outing. Cristian Romero will function alongside Micky van de Ven at the centre of the Tottenham backline as they hope to keep things tidy on the defensive end of the field.
Pedro Porro will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Destiny Udogie looks to give a good account of himself on the other flank as the left-back. Frank will allow both of them to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Djed Spence and Kevin Danso will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Lucas Bergvall, Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr will make up Frank’s midfield. Their main job would be to establish their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park.
Joao Palhinha will be available for selection on the bench as he waits for his opportunity to make an impact in the second half if needed.
Xavi Simons will try to prove his worth on the left flank while Mohammed Kudus looks to make a difference from the right wing.
Richarlison will lead the line for the North London club down the middle. The Brazilian sensation would be fresh for this game after being rested on the bench in the London derby last weekend.
Brennan Johnson, Mathys Tel and Brennan Johnson will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if required. However, Dominic Solanke is a major doubt for this game as he is still recovering from an ankle injury.
