Liverpool returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 2-0 victory over Fulham at Anfield.

The result halted a run of disappointing performances and strengthened Liverpool’s push for a place in next season’s Champions League.

Substitute Emile Smith Rowe created one of Fulham’s best chances but failed to convert from close range.

Liverpool remained organised defensively and rarely looked troubled during the second half.

Slot’s side continued to create occasional openings but were unable to add a third goal.
