Rizespor rally to end Konyaspor's unbeaten run | OneFootball

Caykur Rizespor beat Konyaspor 3-2 at Çaykur Didi Stadyumu on Friday to snap the visitors' seven-match unbeaten Süper Lig run and claim their first league win over them since September 2023.

Early on, Adedire Mebude hit the bar before Jo Jin-Ho put Konyaspor ahead in the 16th minute. Qazim Laçi levelled from close range (18.).

After the restart, Deniz Ertaş twice denied Loide Augusto from range, but Mebude turned the game with a low finish (58.) from Laçi's pass. Augusto then rifled in following a set piece (65.).

Yhoan Andzouana pulled one back late (89.) after substitute Eren Yağmur's pass, but Rizespor saw it out. Mebude's strike was his first goal for the club this season.

Rizespor registered 15 attempts with seven on target and enjoyed 54.9% possession, underlining their second half control.
