Robert Snodgrass has hailed Wales winger Harry Wilson, who has agreed to join Leeds United, with only a medical and paperwork to complete.

Wilson came close to moving from Fulham on last summer’s deadline day, but the switch collapsed when the Cottagers pulled the plug late on.

The 29-year-old impressed across an exceptional 2025-26 campaign and Leeds faced stiff competition for his signature. He is poised to become the first arrival of the window ahead of United’s second season back in the Premier League.

"Harry Wilson is an exceptional talent and would have had a host of teams trying to sign him," said Snodgrass. He was speaking to talkSPORT BET Sportsbook.

"...He will be a great addition and a great signing for Leeds.

"I think the goal for Leeds was always to come back bigger, better, and stronger, learning from the mistakes of the last time they were up.

"...They had some great performances in the latter stages to stay up and looked quite comfortable in the end.
