Rodrygo injury update provided after Real Madrid’s win over Alavés | OneFootball

An update on the wellbeing of Real Madrid star Rodrygo has come to the fore online.

This comes after the Brazilian sparked concern in closing the club’s latest outing with a muscular complaint.

Rodrygo of course proved himself match-winner on Sunday evening.

After Real Madrid welcomed Deportivo Alavés to Spain’s capital for a La Liga clash, the 24-year-old was afforded his 2nd start on the spin, following a starring performance against Manchester City in midweek.

And en route to an eventual 2-1 Blancos triumph in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Rodrygo netted the game’s decisive goal late on.

Looking back to his brilliant best, full of confidence and dangerous in the final third, those of a Blancos persuasion were therefore left understandably concerned by news of the versatile attacker picking up a fitness problem on Sunday.

If the latest word stemming from the Spanish media is anything to go by, though, then such supporters need not fret.

As per a report from journalist Javier Rodríguez Pascual:

‘Rodrygo has some muscle discomfort in his calf. It doesn’t seem to be anything serious.’
