Roma continues to move decisively in the winter transfer window, aiming to strengthen their attack and resolve the offensive issues that plagued the first half of the season.
The Giallorossi’s key targets remain Raspadori and Zirkzee, but they’re also evaluating other positions.
As reported by Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma have reportedly explored Andreas Schjelderup, who is seeking more minutes but has limited playing time at Benfica.
Born in 2004, he has several options: one is Besiktas, who have been pressing for a while. However, the Giallorossi are said to be the player’s first option, a significant detail.
The deal could be reached around a loan with an option to buy set at €12 million, although the Norwegian risks a prison sentence for sharing illegal videos in the past.
Massara’s dream, and not only that, is still Chiesa, who is looking to make the most of his limited playing time at Liverpool.
The former Juventus player could leave the Reds, but the competition is said to be considerable. In any case, one of the two, or a third name, would replace Bailey, a summer flop ready to return to Aston Villa after a loan that brought nothing to the capital club.
