Roma midfielder Neil El Aynaoui impressed with Morocco at the 2026 World Cup, with reports Manchester United, Liverpool and Fenerbahce have asked after him.

The Giallorossi have until now been dealing with the huge surge in focus on Manu Koné thanks to his performances with France in the global tournament.

However, another of their midfielders also made his mark in the USA, Canada and Mexico.

El Aynaoui attracting interest

According to transfer pundit Eleonora Trotta, there has been contact over the last few days from English and Turkish teams to check the availability of El Aynaoui.

Based on previous interest, these are believed to be Manchester United, Liverpool and Fenerbahce.

The 25-year-old was born and raised in France, but plays his international football for Morocco, earning 22 senior caps.

He only came to Roma last summer at a cost of €23.5m plus add-ons from RC Lens, including a percentage of the future sale fee.

If he was to be sold, the asking price would be around €35-40m.
